The poverty rate in Jakarta according to Bank Indonesia is declining every year. It is influenced by many factors, such as subsidy given by Jakarta Provincial Government for transportation, education, housing, and health.
Poverty line is calculated from consumption of food and non-food
Doni Primanto Joewono, Head of Bank Indonesia Representative Office, said poverty line is based on population number, capital income, and the poverty line itself.
